I was 23 when I decided to take a chance on a dream.

Growing up in a business family, I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. I followed the expected path first—a corporate job, plans for an MBA—but no matter where life took me, I kept coming back to the same idea: creating a brand that felt true to me. That’s how Melyn came to life.

Melyn is built by  woman, for women. We curate western wear with the belief that getting dressed should feel like more than just putting on an outfit. The right piece can change how you carry yourself. It can make you feel confident, feminine, comfortable in your own skin—and most importantly, like yourself.

The name Melyn is inspired by meanings associated with warmth, golden light, and tenderness. To me, it represents quiet confidence—the kind that doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed. It reminds me that softness and strength can exist together, and that simplicity can be powerful.

The thought that excites me most is knowing that someone, somewhere, might wear a Melyn dress on a day they’ll always remember. A first date. A birthday. A graduation. A vacation. A moment when they simply want to feel beautiful. If we’ve played even a small part in that memory, we’ve done what we set out to do.
